Why do we have to make reservations?
Last season we introduced the reservation system at Glen Eden in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This allowed us to monitor and control the number of skiers and snowboarders on the hill, in addition to having an easy way to contact trace should we need to. The response of the Glen Eden community was overwhelmingly positive and we decided to keep the system in place to ensure a great on-hill experience, including smaller lift lines.

Will I be able to get dressed in the chalet this season?
We know that information changes frequently as we continue to navigate the pandemic. Under current Public Health Standards, it appears as though the chalets will be open this season. Be sure to check back to our website and social channels for updates.

Is there food available onsite?
Yes, there are three locations where visitors can purchase food at Glen Eden. The Snowflake Cafe in the East Lodge, the Sunset Grill in the West Lodge, and the Snowball Express at the Learning Centre. Click here for more information and hours.

What are your COVID-19 safety protocols?

Why are reservations only for four hours?
Through the reservation system we used last year, we asked our visitors what their ideal length of visit would be at Glen Eden. The response was that four hour time slots were the perfect length to enjoy all the runs multiple times. The four hour increments also ensure that there are spaces available for everyone to enjoy the hill safely.

Can I book a lesson for my visit?
Yes, in fact we encourage it if you’ve never skied or snowboarded before or you’re feeling a little rusty. We have drop-in lessons available daily that can even include rentals if you need them. Click here for more information.

School Trips 2021/2022

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 situation and observe public health measures, we are unfortunately not accepting School Ski Trips at Glen Eden at this time. This decision was not an easy one, but when considering the logistics of hosting and processing large school groups in a safe, timely manner, we determined we could not provide the level of service that we hold ourselves to.

We are still offering a full program of group ski lessons in our 8-week program for 2022, as well as individual private lessons. We encourage everyone interested in learning to ski or snowboard this year to explore these options.

We plan to resume our Skiing in Schools program for the 2022-2023 season and we hope you will join us next year! We appreciate your understanding.

SKI & SNOWBOARD
At Glen Eden we make every effort to ensure that all students have enjoyable and safe experiences on the slopes. Our station teaching methods allow students to progress at their own pace and our graduated sticker system ensures that students are only skiing or snowboarding on terrain that is appropriate to their level. Our experienced Pro Patrol are always on the slopes monitoring the activities of your students in co-operation with your supervisors.
